Happy 2017 to all our follow OAer’s.

During this time of the year, many people get caught in the idea of “New Year Resolutions.” Many people who find themselves on the bandwagon often fall off, get discouraged, and continued down a road of self-destruction.

To any OA member who finds themselves on the “New Year Resolution” bandwagon, remember that in OA, we take it one day at a time. If you fall down, pick yourself back up and just start over.  The only failures in OA are the failure to work the steps and the failure to try.

We all have something for which to be thankful. Being part of OA is something so many more might benefit from. So as the New Year approaches, we can review the blessings and the challenges of the past months and think about how we might carry the message to those who still suffer.

To you and all for whom you care, we wish you the very best. Thank you for what you have done to help OA so far and thank you in advance for what you will do in the days to come to make things better for yourself and for others.

This Saturday being Christmas Eve, The Saturday  Morning Stepping into Recovery Group will hold a special candlelight meeting at 11:00 am at 13 – 15 Pippy Place, The Carnell Building, side entrance.

Please do come and join us for this Special meeting and enjoy the OA Fellowship before the hustle and bustle of Christmas day.

Due to low attendance, the Wednesday Night meetings for December 21 and the 28, will be assumed Cancelled, unless someone is in need of a meeting.

Wednesday Night’s “For Today” meeting will be having it’s Candle light service this Wednesday, December 14, 2016 and all is welcome to join.

If you wish, please feel free to bring along some Christmas lights and/or Battery operated candles.
